2019 has been a shit year for us overall, but the best ever for my blog pensitivity101.
Thanks to all of you who showed your love and support at my most stressful time, your good wishes for a speedy recovery, and your caring comments for both Hubby and Maggie.
Thank you to everyone who has participated in the 3TC challenges and my efforts at Fibbing Friday. It’s my turn again this week.
Thank you to other bloggers who set photoprompts, word challenges or music themes which grab my interest and inspire me.
Thank you to everyone who reads my blog, likes my posts and leaves a comment.
My blog would be nothing without you.
I’ve been busy, having written over 2,500 posts and almost half a million words duringΒ 2019. November saw my best ever views at 12, 788, with December my second best. Highest views in one day were 677 in November, though I had another day top the 600 mark as well. Total views for the year as I type are creeping up towards 113,000 of the 358K since I started in September 2013.
But we all know it is not all about the viewing figures, though I appreciate every single one, the same as I appreciate my followers, friends, and my blogging family.Over the Christmas break I’ve had a hard look at what I’m doing.
A lot of my day is spent at the keyboard (no wonder I’m wearing the letters out!) and I conclude that I talk post too much, so will be reducing my output.
I’m still going to set my challenges though, but won’t be doing a separate post for my 3TC responses and instead include them at the bottom.
Going through the cupboard I found my book of short stories, so I might expand on a few of those and put them out. I don’t kid myself I’m a budding author, but they were fun to write at the time and like my old poetry, with a bit of tweaking might be of interest.
I’ll still contribute my five eggs worth to the challenges I enjoy, though maybe it won’t be every day.
I’m looking forward to the New Year and how things work out. We’re moving forward, not dwelling on the past which we can’t change.
I’m not into making resolutions, but would like to try and improve my blog content and variety. Hope you’ll stick around and if I’m doing it wrong, TELL ME!!!!Β π π π
Happy New Year everyone.
Keep well, be happy, and tell those close to your heart that you love them.
See you next year! π
I’ll be here!
π
Happy, healthy New Year Di, to you, your hubby and Maggie. I really do wish you all the very best. See you next year!
Same to you Fransi! 2020 is going to be a good year!!
Amen to that Di!
Yay!!

Happy New Year Di! π
You too Jen.
Waiting for fireworks to start and just hope that Maggie doesn’t wake up!
Oh dear. It’s only 7PM here in Toronto. Enjoy the fireworks if you can π
It’s just turned midnight and I’m in bed. I have to admit, it’s pretty quiet outside. We had a few fizzes and bangs at 9pm when we took Maggie out for her final walk, so maybe that’s all we’re going to hear.
I hope you sleep well and wake refreshed. π
17 minutes into the New Year and the pops and fizzes have just started. Luckily Maggie’s not bothered.
Good. π
Happy happy!! May 2020 be filled with plenty of good!
Thanks Ruth. Yours too.
Happy New Year to you tooππ
All the best for 2020 and the new decade.
Change is always better than staying the same! All the best Di! π
You too Sadje.
