Thanks as always to Melanie for setting the questions and supplying us with a
Happy New Year 2020 logo.
Here are her questions this week:

What was the single best thing that happened in your life this past year?
Apart from the health related issues, I guess achieving my target at SW in August and maintaining it ever since.

The most challenging?
Has to be Dick the shit, but we beat him.

One thing you learned in 2019?
I am stronger and have more resilience than I ever imagined.

Given all your experiences, insights, and lessons learned in 2019, what’s the best advice you could give yourself for 2020?
All we can do is take each day as it comes, and never forget to say ‘I love you’ every day.

What’s the best meal/food you ate in 2019?
Haven’t had a decent chinese takeaway for well over a year but my homemade tomato bakes, curries and chilis are still delicious, and I excelled myself with our Christmas dinner.

What are three activities you plan to use in the coming year to relieve stress?
Hopefully I will complete the puzzle Hubby bought me for Christmas,
play the piano at least once a week and walk more often.

Gratitude Question:

What brought you the most joy and are you going to do more of that?
Once again we had an excellent Christmas.
2019 has not been a good year for us so we are going to concentrate on the New Year.

Lastly – Any resolutions you’d care to share?
We don’t do resolutions, just try and improve on the bad points of the ending year. 2020 will bring its own list of challenges, and I just hope they are more evenly spread and not so devastating.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
