He had promised to grant her every wish, asked her to trust him, then after he’d had his fun, with a little wave he left her.
She still couldn’t believe she’d been gullible to fall into his trap and should have listened to her inner voice telling her if it was too good to be true, it probably was.
She would survive though. As his PA, she’d had access to a list of all his contacts and wanted everyone to know the dangers of this charlatan, who was a liar and a cheat.
As she hit ‘share‘ on her smartphone, she’d love to be a fly on the wall when his wife and father in law tore a strip or two off him.
Hell hath no fury and all that………………
