December Theme #25 Christmas Day

Hubby and I will be making history today.  I have finally managed to get a DVD copy of White Christmas, and for the first time, both of us will be able to watch it the whole way through as neither of us have!

Christmas Day would not be Christmas Day without this, originally from the movie Holiday Inn, playing somewhere.
Enjoy the original 1942 version below

or if you want the movie version from 1954, here you go

Eat well, drink wisely and embrace the day and each other.

Merry Christmas everyone.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

We have had another session of Christmas all day today. Guests who couldn’t make it yesterday, more Christmas fare, and more gifts handed out to all. No wonder we are exhausted!
