Blogger Recognition Award 18th December

Oh wow.
Sue Vincent of Daily Echo has nominated me for this, and I am honestly lost for words.

Sue’s Thursday Write Photo prompt was one of the first regular prompts I did when I started taking them up. I love her style of writing, her photography, her insights, and of course her dog, Ani, who is so like Maggie they could almost be twins!

Thank you Sue so very much.

1. Thank the blogger(s) who nominated you and provide a link to their blog.

2. Write a post to show your award.

3. Give a brief story of how your blog started.

4. Give two pieces of advice to new bloggers.

5. Select up to fifteen bloggers you want to give this award to.

6. Comment (or pingback) on each blog to let them know that you’ve nominated them and provide a link to the post you’ve created.

OK then, rules 1 and 2 are done.

Rule 3:
I blame Hubby! It was his suggestion as he was already blogging and thought I might enjoy it. That was way back in September 2013, and I’ve been amazed at the response and interest shown in my musings. Blogging has opened up so many new friendships for me, and the support I’ve had recently over health issues has been overwhelming.

Rule 4:
My advice would be always respond to comments on your posts made by other bloggers, and also check out the blogs of people who decide to follow you. There’s a lot of interesting stuff out there and personally I’ve found some have been inspiring and thought provoking.

Rule 5:
The following are well deserving of this award, though there are many more, some of which are Award Free sites like Colin and Kate.

Melanie at sparksfromacombustiblemind
Christine of Stine Writing
Iain Kelly
Michael of Morpheth Road
Barbara aka teleportingweena

Rule 6:
Will complete when this post is published so that I can link it in to my nominees
(now done).
Well done everyone, and thanks again to Sue for nominating me.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Thank you for the nomination Di, and a well-deserved award from Sue for you as well! I tend not to do awards, so I hope I will be excused – besides, most of the blogs I like and follow seem to have already got this one! Hope you have a great festive season, Iain

    • Thanks for your response Iain. I wasn’t sure if you were blog free, but I always enjoy your responses to Friday Fictioneers.
All the best for Christmas and the new books!
