Frank has given us a theme of Common for his photograph challenge this week.

Gone is the heathland and habitat for sand lizards, slow worms, newts, stag beetles and an array of butterflies and small birds. Instead , you have a concrete jungle with graffiti, littered and dog fouled pavements, takeaways, pubs and a youth population with no facilities or places of interest.
In contrast, common ground here is the beach and the park. We are lucky in having both in such close proximity, and a town that is extremely dog friendly (though visitors don’t always clear up after their pets).
