Sunshine Award: 15th December

Sadje has kindly nominated me for this award. You can check out her blog here:
https://lifeafter50forwomen.com/2019/12/14/sunshine-blogger-award-15/

This one has come my way on several occasions, and it is lovely to be included in someone’s sunshine. I like to spread a little myself, so I am happy to answer Sadje’s interesting questions and pose a few of my own.
Nominations are quite high for this one, it is suggested 11, but everyone who takes the time to read my blog deserves some sunshine, so I nominate you all, even if you have participated before.
Here are Sadje’s questions:

Why did you start blogging?
Hubby’s idea as he thought I might enjoy it and it just sort of took off.

Do your friends and family support you in blogging?
Friends yes, but family, only Bro and SIL in NZ know where to find me in blogland. No-one else is interested.

What would be your dream job?
I had it following promotion when I was a financial analyst for an American Bank 1996-2001 (I originally joined the bank in 1989)

What are your ambitions for the coming year?
To get Hubby’s health issues sorted, and get myself 100% fit.

How do you think the world is going to cope with the challenges we are facing?
Always a toughie, as nobody can agree and too many people are indecisive.

What would be your ideal holiday vacation?
Going back to visit Bro in NZ

What is the quality you admire in yourself?
That I genuinely care about other people (and love dogs)

What is the quality you admire in others?
The ability to listen

What is your pet peeve?
Dog oweers who don’t clear up

Are you a book reader? If so how many books you read in a month?
I haven’t read a book for over a year, yet I used to read two or three a week.
In fact, the last book I read was A Justified State by fellow blogger Iain Kelly

What aspect of your personality you would like to change?
I like the person I am, so would not change my personality at all.

Now for my questions:

1.  If you could excel at one thing in particular, what would it be?
2.  Can you cook, and what is your favourite homemade dish?
3.  What bad habit have you broken in recent years?
4.  Do you prefer to drive or be driven?
5.  What is/was your longest relationship?
6.  And what was your shortest?
7.  What kind of music do you prefer?
8.  Is your mood affected by the weather?
9.  Do you like awards and nominations like this?
10. How long have you been blogging?
11. Are you ticklish?

So there you have it.
Go on, have a go, or just leave a comment.
Have a sunny day, whatever the weather.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
