Three Things Challenge #78

The Three Things Challenge is a daily prompt that will hopefully set your mind working.
You don’t have to use all three words though, simply read the prompt and see what springs to mind. There are no restrictions on length, style, genre, or anything apart from keep it family friendly.
Invite us along by creating a pingback to this post and leaving a link in the comments so that other people can read your writings and I’ll see it to respond to you directly.
Just a reminder that the Challenge goes out at 6.30am UK time and pingbacks have to be approved manually so might not show immediately if I’m late accessing my blog.

You can use 3TC, #threethingschallenge or TTC as a tag and any of the logos too if you’d like.

Your three words today are: captive, congeal, cruise.

Have fun!

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

  1. colonialist says:

    As a captive on a cruise,
    Falling down caused many a bruise;
    Just as bleeding would congeal
    Yet another one he’d feel;
    (Rough seas, and a lot of booze!)

  2. While escaping on a cruise, the captive’s blood congealed on my carpet.
