It’s 11.30 and I’ve been up long enough to put the washing on and have breakfast.
It wasn’t that we were late coming home last night as the opposition didn’t mess about with their doubles, but Maggie was unwell again and had me up between 12 and 2.30.
Funny how it’s Tuesday night again as last week, but circumstances were different as we were away last week and home this, so nothing co-incides.
She eventually curled up on the other side of the bed to normal and was asleep by 3.
To be honest the lie in has done me good as I don’t feel tired, and actually in pretty good spirits.
Agenda today is not much, so I may well get my Christmas cards done this afternoon ready to post at the weekend. I’ve got a family birthday coming up, one which if missed may result in sulks and aggro towards the partner, which is pathetic, but not surprising considering the individual concerned.
This year has been one of ignoring/forgetting us so I will do the same next year, only sending a card at Christmas. I’m tired of it being all onesided, and besides, postage is expensive now, though imo it is one of the few things that offers value for money.
When you think about it, sending a letter/card from one side of the country to the other for less than a pound isn’t bad, is it.
As food for thought, the post that follows this one may be of interest (just ignore the date!)
