I was accompanied!!!!

I’ve been for a walk. Yep. With the dog.
The night before last, Hubby said I could walk with him when he took Maggie out for her final wee. We walked about 200 yards and she performed, so we could come back. I felt good and positive at having got out in some fresh air.
Last night, she didn’t co-operate and we walked more than twice that distance. I felt good though as it was progress.

It’s been a good day today too, what with having a shower and getting our lunch, and now we have just got back from doing a full circuit of the block, plus a small detour up to the prom to take (or try) pictures of the super moon.

Maggie has done the business, so hopefully will only need a wee later tonight.
I am pleased with myself, but feel drained so I won’t be doing it tomorrow.

Hubby is going up for the Remembrance Service in the morning. I would love to go too, but know I am not ready yet to stand around for a good half an hour or so.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

You’re amazing. And after all that activity today I’ll bet you sleep like a log tonight.

  2. Something grand about sleeping in one’s own bed, isn’t there? I’m so pleased that you’re doing so very well!! Sometimes the fur kids won’t perform on cue, right? I mean WE didn’t when our parents were potty training us, I bet (although I don’t remember… 😐 )

We won’t be seeing the moon tonight, you guessed it, it’s raining!

  5. Yay. And btw, hugs might still sting a bit.
