Fashion Parade!

You may remember I mentioned doing an impression of an elf in drag having donned bottle green support stockings and red slipper socks the day of my surgery.
Yes, we took pictures.

Watch your blood pressure guys:  this is not for the squeamish!

This ensemble was courtesy of Gowns R Us, a knee length number and matching over-gown with ties back and front.
Wrist jewellery is by Plastiques de Ward.
Putting one’s best foot forward, I present to you the slipper sock appendage:
When I came to, my red socks were absent (shame I would have liked to have kept them actually), but I still resembled a pair of green bottles hanging on the wall.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

They look good and you look good too.

  4. That’s strange that they didn’t leave you your socks. They give them to the patient over here because it’s easier than washing all those socks, plus the fear of MRSA in many hospitals. It’s just easier to send them home with their user. Is the NHS trying to save a little money do you think? 😐

  5. You sexy thang! I have socks like that too from being in the hospital. LOL! They really work good on slippery surfaces.
