As a youngster, I never kept a diary as such, but I did have a Moan Book in which I wrote all my anxieties and grievances to get them out of my system, The following day I’d read it and take great pleasure in ripping out the pages and tearing them up!

About pensitivity101
I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes!
We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too.
From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives.
We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
Love the idea of Moan Book! An equivalent of a emotional punching bag.
Always made me feel better

Such a clever idea. 😉
It was a blessing all those years ago, as once I’d written it all down and slept on it, the next day, nothing seemed so dreadful and if anything I found it quite amusing. Must be my sense of humour under training all those years ago.
I started keeping a diary, then journals from the age of 9. When I got married, my then husband and I took every last one of those books camping, then burned them all. It was rather liberating at the time, but I wish I held onto to them.
I still have the journal I kept of my NZ trip. Sadly a lot of the paper literature got trashed by mistake, but I have about 8 discs and 4 chips of photos.
Thank goodness you had back up on all the following.
all neatly filed away in the roof.
Sounds very therapeutic!
