Song Lyric Sunday 3rd November

Jim’s theme for this week is Around/Down/Sideways/Up

With this week’s events, it has to be Wet Wet Wet
Love is all around. Thank you everybody.

I feel it in my fingers
I feel it in my toes
Love is all around me
And so the feeling growsIt’s written on the wind
It’s everywhere I go
So if you really love me
Come on and let it show

You know I love you, I always will
My mind’s made up by the
Way that I feel
There’s no beginning
There’ll be no end
’cause on my love you can depend

I see your face before me
As I lay on my bed
I kinda get to thinking
Of all the things you said, oh yes I did
You gave your promise to me and I
Gave mine to you
I need someone beside me
In everything I do

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

    Great song.

  2. I remember so well that summer when this song was at #1 for months. What a superb track.

  3. The Troggs recorded Love Is All Around in 1967, but I have also heard the Wet Wet Wet version Di. Nice choice for today.

    Classic and very heartwarming ❤

The melody is beautiful and mesmerizing. Great choice, Di.

It’s a great song. I prefer The Troggs’ version, though…

  7. ghostmmnc says:

Nice remake of the Trogg’s song, and the video was good. Still, I like the original best, as that was our song when we got married. Good memories. 🙂
