Hubby bought me a small gold elephant charm for our Ivory (14th) wedding anniversary.
I wear it with the crucifix from Bro’s first wedding in 1965 when I was bridesmaid, another token from Hubby of a heart with I love you more today than I did yesterday but not as much as I will tomorrow, and a chinese charm that says I love you. I haven’t worn any jewellery other than my earrings since my surgery, but once this dressing is off and the drain’s out, I’ll put them all back on.

We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too.
From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives.
We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
Lovely post Di. Did the surgery go well and are you feeling okay. I do hope so. Glad it over, the op that is . Have a good weekend π
Thanks Willow.
All is looking good, and the dressing coming off and drain removal scheduled for Monday. I’m hoping to get the OK to travel so that we can get home and back into our routine. I’m feeling OK in myself, just tired and sleeping a lot which is to be expected. I’m not used to being waited on and doing nothing for myself (apart from washing!) and it’s getting me down to be honest, though I know it’s necessary at the moment
Aww, so sweet.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
Thanks Irene.
All of you charms have such genuine love and beautiful memories. It will feel so good again to be able to wear them again. π
π It will, but we must get this drain out first
That I get. In time, really soon. π€π
