I’m out of hospital, complete with drain, but all is good. I’m feeling OK though obviously tired as the anesthetic wears off and I’m trying to get the angle right to type.
Will go into the nitty gritty with my first ever use of a bed pan in due course.
Meanwhile, I intend to catch up with your comments and thank you all again for your support as I am wrapped up and loved in cotton wool.

this is a very old post, but it was still in my inbox, so I thought I’d answer it anyway. How good it feels to be free from the hospital! Sending big hugs! Hoping your feeling much better now!
Hi Carol Anne. It’s all way behind me now and I’ve been given the all clear….. no chemo or radiotherapy needed. Everything is healing so well, hard to believe it’s only 8 weeks ago I had my surgery. Apart from tiredness hitting me like a freight train when I least expect it, I’m doing great!
Thank goodness, Iβm delighted to hear this, itβs great news π
Thank you. Things are looking good, I have some pretty new underwear (cost a bomb) and The Precious is a good fit.
