Three Things Challenge #42

Welcome to the Three Things Challenge where every day I’ll post three seemingly unconnected things that will hopefully set your mind working.
You can use 3TC, #threethingschallenge or TTC as a tag and any of the logos too if you’d like.
You don’t have to use all three words if you don’t want to, simply read the prompt and see what it brings to mind. There are no restrictions on length, style, genre, or anything apart from keep it family friendly.
Invite us along by creating a pingback to this post and leaving a link in the comments so that other people can read your writings and I’ll see it to respond to you directly.
Just a reminder that the Challenge goes out at 6.30am UK time and pingbacks have to be approved manually and so might not show immediately if I’m late accessing my blog.

Above all, the idea is to have fun and enjoy the challenge as much as I enjoy your responses.
Thanks for your support!
Your three words today are: alarm, haunting, shock

Please note:
There will be a break in the challenge for a little while as I won’t be able to access my computer to approve pingbacks or comment on your lovely and welcome entries.
No need to worry though, I will be back asap and hope to post a few things generally after my surgery, but I can’t guarantee to do that on a daily basis.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
