I haven’t done an update on the Monday Motivation recently so here goes.
I’ve stayed within target since early August and have to admit this past week I have not been eating to plan. I’ve had treats as and when I felt like it, though I have had sensible meals with plenty of fruit and veg as well, but let us just say the cheesecake, chocolate biscuits, rocky road and belgian bun were all very nice, as was the leek, ham and chicken pie with lovely flaky pastry.
These past couple of weeks have seen losses to the extent that I was just half a pound away from the lowest parameter of my three pound window either side. That could be seen as pleasing or ‘dangerous’, but with current events, to be honest I’ve had other things on my mind than the SW bible.
It came as no surprise then that I had a gain this week.
I kept my socks on this time, and the scales showed a plus of 2½ pounds. I was actually pleased as it put me slap bang on target again, so I can go back to normal and not feel guilty.
This is still part of a learning curve about maintaining my weight and what I can get away with once in a while. I say that because I don’t want to get too lax and the weight begins to pile on again. Hopefully this time next week things will have settled down and I’ll be back on track and maybe have a small loss!
