The Friday Reminder and Prompt for #SoCS Sept. 14/19

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “blue.” Talk about the first blue object you see when you sit down to write your post. Have fun!

Love is blue, or at least MY love is blue, but not unhappy or a smurf.
You may remember my days as a Smurf as having a blue boob and peeing blue after my surgery in 2016.

Today he is wearing blue joggers, a black tee shirt and a blue hoodie!
How uncanny is that? I mean usually he’s wearing all black, but to think he is colour
co-ordinated with Linda’s blogging challenge as he’s sitting right across from me! Yay!!
Apart from jeans and his overalls which are currently hanging up outside , blue is not his colour, so there you go Linda. My hubby is wearing blue just for you!

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

  1. Sadje says:

    What a coincidence.

  2. Isn’t that a coincidence. I remember the Smurfs before the real movie versions. I did love those shows.

  3. Your post made me think of Keith Urban’s song – Blue aint your colour – one of my favourites, but referring to something else entirely.

Love the smurfs. One of the few things that has managed to carry from my generation to my children without them thinking that it is totally lame.
