Three Things Challenge 178 ~ Paula’s 3TC Finale!

Thanks to Paula for hosting this challenge since February having taken over from Teresa AKA The Haunted Wordsmith.
As she has kindly mentioned in this,  her final post, I’m taking over the reins as your host and will endeavour to do as good a job as my predecessors. I’m also hoping it will add a new dimension to my blog in setting challenges as well as doing them.
Today’s prompt: drummer, tapioca, greed

Jai was promised a hefty sum to act as drummer for the masses.
Although he didn’t agree with their cause, greed got the better of him, and he wanted to be seen as providing for his family.
After the event, he lined up for payment and was dismayed to see this was to be made in tapioca as they had run out of rice, his usual staple diet.

I’ll be posting my first effort over the weekend and hope you’ll join in.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! Due to a nightmare of a house sale in 2014, 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat until April 2017. We made strong friendships both on and off the water, and enjoyed swan and duck families for neighbours. Sadly times change and we now reside in a small bungalow a short distance from the beach on the Lincolnshire coast.
