The Daily Four: Game 4

Over to Rory’s blog for this week’s questions

What truly motivates you to write?
What I read in other people’s posts, thoughts, observations, my life.
What’s cluttering up your life today and what are you doing about it?
Emotions are all over the place at the moment. Trying to settle, but it’s difficult.
Did you enjoy a creative childhood?
Only really as far as my music was concerned, though I did write poetry.
Have you ever wanted to write a book or if you have written a book do you feel accomplished for doing so?
I thought about it but soon run out of steam.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

    Hey Di 🙂

Thanks for answering the questions – so you are out of steam now [book] do you think you will start the project again at a later time?

    • I doubt it Rory. My original idea was sort of autobiographical about my fight with the flab. I did have two of my poems published in a collection around 1983 and followed it up with a booklet of about 20 of my own, but I don’t know what happened to them as I gave them to my parents. Chances are my sister threw them away when Mum and Dad first went to live with her.

    Interesting answers.

  3. I think you would write a great book, you do write very well!

I have just selected you for the Weekly Song Challenge-Round 30.
