Frank has given us a seasonal theme this week with Fall, or as we say in the UK Autumn.
However, what he likes about this theme is that the word fall can be taken into other directions, from trip and fall to Victoria Falls and many stops in between.
Where we go with it is entirely up to us!

Autumn is probably my favourite time of year as I love the warm russet, red and gold colours as the trees shed their leaves, leaving a unique carpet underfoot.
We had to be careful on the marina as the dog walk was flanked by sycamore trees and the sticky pods wedged in the fur between the pads on Maggie’s feet which was quite a job to get them out.
Photo: January 2015, so not exactly our Autumn, but the colours were right!
This week, I was saddened to see that one of the trees along our original Avenue has been felled. Although these were not taken in Autumn, the blossom turned out to be some of the best pictures I took with my old digital camera.
Now all that is left is a stump.
Beautiful pictures. I love fall colors too.
Thank you
A pleasure.
I hate it when trees are felled.
I couldn’t see a reason for it, but then we have been away two years, though it was still there last year.
