Thanks to Bikurgurl for our 100 Word Wednesday challenge again this week.

The bike was outside number 6 again.
The curtains of the top flat opposite twitched, the resident therein furious at having missed the owner’s arrival.
No-one else on her floor seemed interested in the goings on across the road which infuriated her even more. She loved a bit of gossip, especially if she could spread it, but she had nothing to work on.

Meanwhile at number 6, Michelle continued her daily routine, knowing the old biddy in Tennyson Heights was doing her crust wanting to know who her visitor was.
The joke was it was her own bike which she put outside.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! Due to a nightmare of a house sale in 2014, 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat until April 2017. We made strong friendships both on and off the water, and enjoyed swan and duck families for neighbours. Sadly times change and we now reside in a small bungalow a short distance from the beach on the Lincolnshire coast.
