FOWC with Fandango — Masterpiece

From music to craft to baking, I believe I have had my moments and produced the occasional masterpiece.
With my music, it’s a question of tinkering and tinkling……………. something filters through my mind and is transferred to my fingertips. I never know for sure if it’s something original or something heard from the distant past, but I put my own interpretation to it, and it doesn’t sound too bad.
The problem here is I don’t record or write it down, so more often than not it’s lost.

Craft has to be cards, and I have had some favourites, this being one that I put together for my niece’s wedding two years ago. The other will be winging its way in the same direction shortly, so as the recipient reads my blog, I’m not posting a picture of it!!

On the baking front, I’ve had my share of disasters, but my sponges are turning out OK and my first ever cheesecake was a delicious masterpiece in a league of its own.

So much so, that I made two more in quick succession (pre SW I might add)

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

I’m no chef, but I’ve had a few desserts turn out well. These days, with everyone dieting or doing keto, I just pick up cheese & crackers or fruit for parties. Easier on me anyway!

Back in the day, I did creative scrapbooks with pics of the kids, and I’m proud of them. But now we all have digital pics online, so that’s over. Plus, I wouldn’t have time for it.

My main creative outlet has always been writing, and lately I’ve really been indulging that. It makes me happy!

    PS: love your cards!

    • Thanks Paula. The wedding card was done as a black and white for another challenge and was quite effective. I then got the idea of doing black and white only, bought the papers etc to play, and nothing worked!! grrrr. Need to have another go.
