Have moved the goalposts

Funny thing, this being at target.
I smashed my aimed loss on July 15th to take me 2½ pounds below the target I had set myself and believed my recorded target was now this lower weight.
The following week, I put on half a pound, the Sock Gain if you recall (love this caption).
Last week I stayed the same, so was well pleased, and this week, well, this week despite having some goodies at the garden centre yesterday, and having this for dinner today

I have lost a further two pounds!
Two and a half would have been nicer then those certificates would have been mine, but I’m not worried. There’s always next week and a half pound loss to achieve for that.
I was told at the weigh in desk that I was now out of target and had a week’s grace, else I would have to pay. PANIC!!!!!!

I don’t want any weight to go back on and besides, at the lesser weight, I was still within target today. It would appear this wasn’t adjusted when I hit it on the 15th, so I had a chat with our group leader and she has reduced it to my weigh in today.
I’m rather pleased at the outcome as this actually puts me right where I wanted to be two years ago and I can now aim at staying there.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
