Thank you!

4. Nominate 11 other bloggers and ask them 11 questions

Suze has asked her nominees these questions:

  1. How did you pick your blog’s name?
I tend to think a lot and been told I look pensive when doing so.
  2. Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give your 13-year-old self?
Don’t marry the first guy and don’t live with the second!
  3. What’s your favorite TV/Radio show?
We don’t have a TV, but used to enjoy NCIS (Gibbs et al)
  4. What are three things you cannot live without?
As Hubby and Maggie aren’t actually things, I’d go with a flush loo, a roof over my head and probably the car.
  5. Who is your favorite fictional character?
Toughie, so would go with Carl Fredricksen (Up)
  6. What is your most prized possession?
A photo of Barney (our previous dog) on canvas. To us it is priceless.
  7. Describe yourself in three words.
    Caring, loyal, and trustworthy.
  8. What is your favorite place where you have traveled and why is it your favorite?
New Zealand, because that’s where Bro is.
  9. What single quality do you most appreciate in people?
  10. What’s your favorite post that you’ve written? (Link, please!)
I have two, one each for my parents:
Daddy’s Little Girl  and I am My Mother’s (other) Daughter
Sadly Mum passed away in January 2018 and I find comfort in the thought that she and my Dad are reunited.
  11. Does your blog have a focus, and if so, what is it?
I try to bring variety and a smile to my readers. My aim in life is to make at least one person smile every day.

Now I have a problem nominating people at the best of times, so I’m afraid I could be letting the side down here.
However, I have noticed an increase in my followers recently, so I invite anyone who has decided to follow me since the beginning of July to answer my following eleven questions.

1. Do you have a pet? if so, what is it and how old is it?
 2. Do you prefer rice, pasta or potatoes as a staple in your diet?

 6. What is your earliest childhood memory?
 7. Do you believe in Fate?
 8. Do you live in a house/bungalow/flat/other?
 9. What makes for a perfect evening in your opinion?
10. Do you prefer to grow fruit and veg or flowers in your garden?
11. Films: Do you prefer Westerns, Thrillers, Comedies, Sci-Fi or Musicals?

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

when my boys were young they had a dog we rescued and named him Barney. He was the most irritating dog I ever had living with us…mostly because he couldn’t stay put! We lived in a mobile home…one that had the heating vents and shutes in the floor. Barney would pull the vent out of the floor, crawl through the duct-work from room to room, then appear in the kitchen where he would raid the cat food and dog food bins! he got stuck under the laundry room once and we had to get an A/C repairman to come get him pout. That was embarrassing!

    • Ha. That is so funny (though I appreciate it wasn’t at the time). We brought home his brother at the same time and called him Rubble, but he became so distressed every time we closed the door, we took him back. He wasn’t destined to be a house pet and ended up working on a farm like his parents. Barney was a couch potato and liked his creature comforts.
