Melanie over at sparksfromacombustiblemind sets us four or five questions every week.
Nip over and check it out, then copy her questions like I have and join in!
These are they this week:
QUESTIONS.

- Is it wrong to sell store-bought pastries at a bake sale?
I would say No if it was for charity, but YES if it was for personal gain and you passed them off as your own. There’s nothing wrong with bring and buy, and some people haven’t got time to bake from scratch.
- Have you ever interacted with the police?
Yep. We overheard a worrying conversation in the supermarket about a forthcoming event at the hall next door to us and informed our local PCSO. They confiscated two van loads of alcohol at an under 16s disco (the hall didn’t have a liquor licence) and arrested three drug pushers. The organisers were taken to task and party celebrations suddenly stopped. Apparently it was all one family and their friends anyway.
- What will you remember most about this past year (this question will show up again, in late December, just FYI)
Reaching target at Slimming World (so far)
- Is it better to have fungus on your toes, your tongue, or your pizza?
As long as they are of the edible variety, Pizza. I love mushrooms!
- What is one slang word that makes your skin crawl?
Can’t even write it, but it’s four letters and begins with c. My gratitude this week is having friends and some lovely acquaintances.
On the way back from our dog walk this afternoon, we were invited to pick some apricots as the owner couldn’t eat them all and they were rotting on the tree. I’ve come back with a bag of about 2kg (and left plenty for someone else), promising tomatoes in return when we get some. They are delicious. Crumble tomorrow!
Ooo! Apricot crumble! When do you eat, I’ll bring some cream to go with the crumble! 😉 heh heh Thanks Di for Sharing Your Beautiful World! I, too, loathe “c***”. Hubby called me that one time and I slugged him for his trouble. A Facebook friend used to write it out like this “See You Next Tuesday” and that confused me until she told me what it stood for. Now I say THAT instead of “c” and although it’s no better in the worst insult sweepstakes, at least it’s not the word itself.
Yum. Cream, you’e on, even if it would be by proxy! Hubby likes his with custard, and i can have yogurt so all is good.
I enjoy mushrooms also.
Congrats on reaching your target at Slimming World!
I love mushrooms too, jus tnot on pizza.
Thanks Astrid. Have maintained this week so doing good!
Oh that’s awesome! I seriously have no idea of my weight right now, but I definitely. Need to lose weight.
Hope my blog can give you some ideas!
