Friday is here and you know what that means! Thanks Teresa!
Time to take off the good boy and girl clothes and put your fibbing caps on. What are the greatest whoppers you can spin for today’s questions?

  1. Why is there an ‘e’ on the end of toe but not potato?
    The potato has eyes instead.

    We’re not going to hurt each other are we?

    Lolly…………..it can be converted to cash.
  4. Why are wheat crackers so tasty?
    Because they go so well with wine.
  5. What happens at the rainbow factory on clear days?
    It shuts.
  6. Which item of clothing is the most jealous?
    Sleeves, they tend to be green.
  7. How did a boat get in the middle of the desert?
    It was part of an Oar-as-sis
  8. What kind of dessert is best served in the desert?
    Ca(ra)mel toffee delight.
  9. What should an Englishman send an Australian for Christmas?
    Sun glasses.
  10. What really happened in the Hellfire Caves?
    They ran out of matches.
  11. Why do ghosts exist?
    To teach us about Christmas, past, present and future.
  12. Where do everlasting gobstoppers come from?
    Never Never Land of course.
  13. Where do dreams come from?
    The supermarket, chocolate aisle, third shelf on the left.

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
