Fibbing Friday July 12

Yay! Friday Fib time! Thanks Teresa.

It’s Fibbing Friday time again! Yippee! Put those fibbing caps on and see what great big whoppers you can spin to answer these questions:

  1. What was the “clue” in Clue?
It was the C, because it was neither blue, flue, or glue.
  2. What did Harry Potter really do in the Chamber of Secrets?
    Flushed, then washed his hands.
  3. What are mixed nuts?
Partners in crime to anything that bolts.
  4. What is a Stubbie holder (no cheating)?
    A receptacle for dogends.
  5. What’s a Scouser (no cheating)?
A typo for a washing up aid.
  6. What happened on April 10, 221 BCE?
I don’t know about 221, but in 1967 I had my first period!
  7. Why did Mario and Luigi dislike toads?
They kept disguising themselves as mushrooms and felt funny when they ate them.
  8. Why were the Blues Brothers sad?
Neither liked the colour, but Red didn’t have the same ring about it.
  9. What happened to make the summer magic?
  10. What was the secret of Nimh?
    No batteries required.
  11. Where did Gulliver travel to?
  12. What did the Avengers avenge?
    A bad script and haricut.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
