Frank has given us Radiant as our theme this week.

What immediately came to mind was the radiant smile of one of my foster boys at Christmas when he realised the ghetto blaster gift was his to keep, not just on loan. His face literally divided with a smile so dazzling, I can still feel its radiance after thirty five years. Obviously I have no photo of that but it will be imprinted on my heart forever.
I took this picture on August 5th 2018, just as the sun was breaking free of the horizon at dawn.
The promise of a new and glorious day lay ahead, but it was a special morning for me as that day, the Book of Remembrance would be open at that page, and on it, Mum and Dad were reunited.
In life, their smiles radiated warmth to everyone they met. I think I may have inherited some of that as apparently the other patients on Hubby’s ward commented that their spirits and those of their visitors, were raised when I arrived.
That gave me a feel good factor of at least a million!
It is such a positive post. You definitely have a radiant personality in writing.
Thank you so much! I hope my blog is a true reflection of the real me.
It definitely is. Nothing negative or any grumpy post, even when you’re worried you put it ever so nicely.
🙂 I do have my rant moments though!
We all have those! 🤬😃
