I am not techno savvy, and still getting to grips with my new phone.
It ‘bips’ every time a button is pressed like some drunken hiccoughing bubble, but if I turn the sound off, it cancels everything so calls and messages are likely to be missed.
I topped it up today using my new top up card as all ATMs have now had the mobile phone top up facility withdrawn.
A little while ago, Hubby suggested that I have the chip for photos as the camera in my phone is a better quality than the one in his. It made sense, but working out how to navigate through the menu, snap, save and take another picture was confusing and frustrating as I kept going back to the start!
So, walking the dog on my own the other day, I decided to play.
I took a lovely photo of my hand covering the lens, and a nice one of my foot.
The problem is trying to focus…………. actually trying to see and read the damn screen when the sun’s shining!
The pics of my dog roses didn’t all come out, but I did salvage this one
Not perfect, but a start.
Last night walking the dog, we had a rainbow in the night sky.
I say night sky as although it was gone 9pm it was still light, so I thought I’d give it a go.
Not brilliant. Still, it’s an interesting shot!
Finally today I took this.
It was very much trial and error as I couldn’t see a damn thing, so just pointed, hovered, hoped and snapped.
Apparently this is what is known as a Victory Poppy.
The heads are huge and spiky like chrysanths, but they are a strain of opium poppy and are sprouting up in a lot of gardens. They are stunning so I’m hoping to get some seeds and sprinkle a few in our flower bed at the bottom of the garden.
But you know what I am most pleased about?
Actually getting the photos off my phone and into my laptop for my post in the first place!
I have yet to learn how to do that. The flower looks great.
I’m getting the hang of it I think.
Great!
I love the picture of the street! It looks like the beginning of a story…
I wish the rainbow was more defined though Pam as it was quite a wide one.
Ah, technology. You either love it or hate it, sometimes both on the same day!
I gave up on my phone and it went back to the shop. Life is short enough without all the hassle…
I only wanted a phone that would make and receive calls and texts. Seems you get a camera as standard now (sigh). Still playing.
Those are some lovely photographs 👌👌
thank you
