100 Word Wednesday: Week 123

Thanks to Bikurgurl for another 100Word Wednesday challenge.

Ian and Janice had been dating for about four months, and although she’d invited him back to her apartment on several occasions, he had never returned the favour.
He was generous and caring, a true gentleman, but there was this little niggle at the back of her mind so she asked him outright if he was married.
He laughed pleasantly, and said no, he hadn’t found the right woman yet, so she pressed a little further.
When he said he lived in a mobile home, Janice imagined a static caravan on a site, and was totally unprepared for the bus.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

It would be a great way to get around wouldn’t it, so long as you had the expertise to fix anything that went wrong, which sadly I don’t have!!
