Melanie’s questions this week are:
Do you consider yourself a pessimist or an optimist?
Optimist, as my glass is always half full. However, if it were half empty, I know where the tap is to fill it.
Can War ever be just?
I hate conflict in my personal life, so I don’t really feel I can answer this as there are always two sides to an argument and varying circumstances.
However, I am fed up with countries sticking their nose in business that is nothing to do with them.
Think about the people you love most in your life, what do you do for them?
I am here. I will give them my all, my loyalty, trust and unconditional love.
Are you health conscious?
Very. Post cancer, diabetic and continuous weight issues, I try to eat sensibly, get enough exercise and aware of any physical or mental changes.
Gratitude, Thankfulness, Wonder, Awe and Joy!
I am thankful for everything I have, to be able to share my life with the man I love and who loves me with every ounce of his being.

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes!
In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too.
On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts.
From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives.
We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
Loved reading your answers! ❤️
Thanks Paula.
Lovely Share Your World, Di. You seem to have a good grasp and appreciation for the small things in life, which I personally think is the key to happiness. Have a great Memorial Day.
Thanks Melanie. You too.
Living on the boat showed us just what was important, and we had it!
A lovely post. 👌
Thanks Sadje
You are welcome!
