Over to Melanie for this week’s Share Your World
Some Silly Questions:

Is it better to suspect something (bad or hurtful) and not know or to have your worst fears confirmed by sure knowledge?
Toughie: I think I’t want to know one way or the other otherwise I’d go nuts!

What makes you laugh aloud?   Crack up?   Laugh until your sides split?   When was the last time you had a great big belly laugh?
Norman Wisdom always raised a smile, but there’s a scene in Six Days and Seven Nights where Harrison Ford goes into a bush when it’s realised they are not where they thought they were, and has a swearing fit. I crease every time I see it.

Do you suppose Noah had woodpeckers in the ark?  If he did, where did he keep them?   Apologies to the Darwinians in the crowd…this is merely for fun, okay?
I reckon he had woodpeckers to keep the woodworm in check.

Why is “Charlie” short for “Charles when they are the same number of letters?
No idea. Always preferred Chas myself to Charles

What happened in your world this past week that made you feel thankful, joyful or grateful?
Got a letter from the eye specialist I saw last year to say there is no need for a second review appointment.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
