FOWC with Fandango — Skimp

Loads of things came to mind on this one.
Like how some establishments skimp on the contents of their sandwiches, or if you go out for a meal, skimp on what is put on your plate, unless you want it piled high with chips!

But I’m going with clothes as they skimp on quality and value.
Gone are the days when you could buy an item of clothing and if you put on a bit of weight had sufficient material to let it out. Not so today, the seams just meet, and if you sneeze, well, more than June could be busting out all over!

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! Due to a nightmare of a house sale in 2014, 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat until April 2017. We made strong friendships both on and off the water, and enjoyed swan and duck families for neighbours. Sadly times change and we now reside in a small bungalow a short distance from the beach on the Lincolnshire coast.

I know this is too bad. The moment your size changes, one has to get new clothes. I guess that’s one incentive to remain the same size.

  2. I just buy stuff which is about 3 sizes to big for me now.

sizes/portions keep shrinking and costs keep rising. it applies to everything. the only things getting bigger is the tasteless genetically modified produce
