Apart from a couple of little dribbles earlier, the forecast rain has stayed away.
That was until about forty minutes ago when the skies just opened and rain was driving sideways across our frontage. t was so dense, I could only just see the house opposite.
The sky has that funny ominous colour about it and I would not be at all surprised to hear thunder shortly.

No chance of rainbows today, but it will do the garden good, replenish our water butt and wash away the few drops of Ratilda’s blood. It will also neutralise the human smell on the traps which have not been touched, neither has any of the bait been taken.
Note:
Our neighbour has been putting traps down for the past fortnight and caught four rats and 2 mice. The one Hubby dispatched was a female and may well have been preparing a nest under the shed in the neighbour’s garden on the other side. Time will tell.
The pasta bait Hubby ordered yesterday has arrived as promised. When we used it before, he put some down and saw a rat take it before he’d walked away!
Good luck with the 🐀
The pasta bait is taken back to the nest where they all feed on it.
Good
Yes, we just had a heavy downpour and thunder.
No thunder came about and now it’s brilliant sunshine! No wonder the birds and flowers are confused!!
Yes, they don’t know whether their coming or going.
ha!
Big storm here.
Hope it’s not coming our way Gary.
