Tuesday Photo Challenge – Connections

If I had photos to support our trip back from our honeymoon in Holland in 1991, it would have been the perfect story as there was a general transport strike and we had to make the necessary connections before our tickets expired at midnight! Without pictures, if you wish, you can read about that here

However, I do have pictures of connections in nature when the Canada geese formed creches for their young last year.
We initially had two broods of seven goslings which joined forces so always had 4 adults on watch. It was wonderful to see them together, and other broods also joined up in little groups.
We understand that last year was a bumper year for ducklings and goslings, so I was glad I got some pretty decent pictures as one pair of adults seemed quite content to let me get close to their babies.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! Due to a nightmare of a house sale in 2014, 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat until April 2017. We made strong friendships both on and off the water, and enjoyed swan and duck families for neighbours. Sadly times change and we now reside in a small bungalow a short distance from the beach on the Lincolnshire coast.
