The tiny shack in the park was an unassuming sight. It was bordered by an old oak tree on one side and a grassy ridge on the other, but the adjoining salt spring held the power to heal they said. Her faith in the occupant who lived there had no limit.
The child laid the delicate creature with wings like stained glass gently on the old woman’s palm and begged for her to fix it.
With knowing eyes, the old witch cast her magic and with a spray of fairy dust, Tinkerbell was made whole again.
