Susan’s used one of her photos to challenge us this week.

It looked too much like a set up.
The two people standing on the sidewalk were trying too hard not to communicate.
And the guy asleep under the umbrella wasn’t selling anything, not even coffee, despite having a kettle on to boil.
Amateurs.
Time to implement plan B.
No-one paid any heed to the stroller by the door.
If they had, they would have noticed it was empty, save for the rhythmic tick, tick, tick of a timer under the seat.

About pensitivity101
I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes!
We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too.
From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives.
We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
Why are they all hanging about if a bomb is going to explode?
They are the targets…………and didn’t know about the stroller.
Might go back in and tweak a bit……….
You’re right. On re-reading it, it comes across that way so I’ve tweaked it. Thanks!
Well thought out for the scenario.
I went back in and tweaked it
That is the best thing about the option of correcting or changing a post once it is published. I used to do a lot of it, in the beginning
I reviewed it and it didn’t read right, so I tweaked it. I’ve done it a few times following comments and appreciate constructive criticism. It helps me improve.
Yes, our readers are great that way.
😀
Sadly it’s now a fact of life, you read the prompt really well
Thanks Michael.
