Sweet Baby Boy,

May you always know a mother’s love.

May you never feel alone.

No matter how screwed up things may appear, may you always have someone beside you.

These were the three wishes I bestowed on my great great nephew (our 5th generation) when he was born on Christmas Day, 2013.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

I screwed it up because I didn’t see it had to be 5,ines or less. I am sorry. Just disregard my post. I am blind so didn’t read it right. Really really sorry

    • It wouldn’t matter Lorraine. It could have remind as a free standing piece and you could have reduce it to suit Patricia’s guidelines.

Lol maybe so. But I just didn’t see even that it had to be five lines. Oh well……never mind. I’m sure I will be forgiven lol
