FOWC with Fandango — Amicable

Good morning on this wonderful, if overcast morning!
I’ve been up early, walked the dog, posted an all important birthday card to a boating friend, and great news, my SIL is coming up to visit and staying over!
Maggie and I walked round the park meeting up with several other dog walkers and a few people walking to work. Kids/teenagers were gathering at the bus stop so they were off to school.
Maggie showed no interest in the ducks or geese, though they showed a lot of interest in me but I didn’t have anything to feed them today so they sulked!
All in all, everyone was very amicable and exchanging ‘good mornings’ and ‘how are you?’s
It’s such a change from sullen faces and, if lucky, a grumpy response, from when we were living Down South.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

That’s great. It’s a wonder what good weather does to lift the mood.
