Rule 5
Now my dear Joe, what seven things can I tell you about me that you might not know?

My first attempt at roast potatoes ended up in tears as they didn’t go brown and crispy like my Mum’s.

Also on the cooking theme, I cannot make top hat yorkshire puddings, and it is already well known that I cannot make proper custard for toffee so it comes out of a packet that you make up with boiling water!

Easy observation, I prefer dogs to cats, but cats are OK.

I’m practically tee-total. Last had a half of lager about a year ago, my first for about 5 years.

I play the piano but can’t read music.

My first trip abroad was to Amsterdam in 1991. I was 35.

Our wedding night was spent on an overnight ferry to Holland, with the ‘bridal suite’ being bunks in an inside cabin. It was hysterical.

Thanks again for the nomination.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
