Thanks Fandango for inviting us to write a post about Post.
I’m posting this a little later than usual as I’ve got a bit behind with reading the posts that have come into my reader over the last couple of days.
I didn’t know Hubby when he was in the forces and posted overseas, though when I was at school I had a lot of penfriends and it was nice to get some letters in the post box.
We actually had some post today, or at least I did. Unusual to have snail mail, but this was good news about a rise in my work’s pension. I honestly don’t know what to spend my extra three pounds a month on…… postage stamps I suppose.
It’s been a while since I held a post with a company though and got paid for my efforts.
The line post in the garden is still standing which is great. It might even have an addition to it judging by the amount of washing we had to hang out the other day. I actually wrote a post about that too.
I have a personal letter to write later and want to get it in the post by the weekend.
Oh well, this is my post on today’s word prompt.
