As expected

Our internet kept crashing us out and Hubby has sent in a complaint to our provider, especially as our new tariff is due to kick in this weekend.
We’ve had our phone bill, and it is the most expensive ever. This was expected as we were kept hanging on the phone for ages at the hospitals and our doctors, calls to which are not free or even at a reduced rate.
Therefore, we are not using our landline AT ALL and relying on our mobiles as we used to.

It has taken me something like three hours to go through my reader since we got home. Hubby says it’s because I follow too many people. I have to laugh at that as I don’t really. The problem today was being dropped every two or three minutes, though I managed to put some challenges into draft form which I’ll get on with shortly.

As I haven’t been sleeping too well recently, I thought perhaps it was too much screen time so started my new book last night.
It’s two short stories by Nora Roberts and has been sitting on my bedside table since before Christmas!
My suduko book is almost completed too, this will be a first as once I get to the hard ones I lose interest (read can’t do them!). I’ve already done half of those in the hardest section and have about ten left. Hanging around in the doctor’s surgery or hospital car park has contributed to my completion!
Things seem to have settled down a bit now, so hopefully I should be able to get some of my favourite challenges in now.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

The universe should give you and yours a break, as there is far too much on your plate already!

  2. Good luck with the complaints. Getting a fix is like getting blood from a stone. I remember talking to doctor who said too much screen time isn’t really a big issue. If it helps relax you then do it. The stuff that stresses you out are the ones you need to cut out. Don’t know why I am telling you this as I am an awful sleeper these days….
