I got behind with my blog on Sunday, and as we lost the internet yesterday, I got behind on Monday’s challenges too.
I loaded up my draft box this morning with pictures and linkages for challenges I love to do and now have 9 drafts pending work and completion!
We had some stuff to do outside and after lunch went out to get some plants to bring colour into our Green World of Lawn.
Hubby has utilised the one
circle of dirt area he kept for our incinerator bin and put our laurel bush in it. The pretty plants are spread round it, and we bought a box of Scatter Colour flower seeds today which we just sprinkle like grass seed and see what comes up.
I so want the birds to come in, and apart from Portly and Breast, 2 doves and a couple of blackbirds, no featheries seem interested in our bird feeder goodies. I am so disappointed.
Still, perhaps if we get some colour and when the buddliah comes out, both bees and butterflies will say Yummy and visit.

Hubby has moved our lavender bush to the front of the house under the window. After those swines dug up our Ancient Mariner rose bush, we were unhappy about putting anything at the front, but as this is actually against the house, maybe it will be safe. It will certainly get plenty of sun anyway which is the general idea.
Our four fruit bushes have buds, as do all three of our rose bushes. The clematis seems to have some new growth too, so that will also add colour, as will our little apple tree should it blossom, though it will be nothing like this.

The onions are in and later we’ll be getting a couple of growbags for beans and tomatoes.
And now for my backlog…………………………………
