JusJoJan: 21st January

Today’s JusJoJan word prompt is ECHO, provided by Lady Lee
Reminds me of school.
We had a corridor that had to be passed through in silence, not even the teachers were allowed to speak in it.
The Head’s office door was in it, the door to the collection point for graded books was in it, as was the door to the M.I. (medical inspection) room which housed 2 camp beds and had a small bathroom.
The door to the staff room was outside the corridor entrance at one end, and the reception office was at the other, with a slight alcove and personal entrance to the Head’s study and where her secretary’s desk was situated.
The echo of footsteps as people walked through it was eerie.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have an elderly dog called Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
