Suze over at suziland did a take on the same picture as my Pinched #1 post and kindly provided another photo with an open challenge.
Well, here I am, and here it is
Ribe river viking ship, Denmark
Dick and Tom were in the doghouse.
They should have read the small print, going by the old adage that if something sounded too good to be true, it probably was.
Melissa and Mabel were still seething, and hadn’t spoken to their menfolk for over an hour. Any other time, the guys would have been glad of the peace and quiet, but this hostile silence was choking them to such an extent that they were afraid to speak to each other and invoke the wrath of the Mighty Ms.
They had been having such a good time, enjoying the sights at the start of their retirement, something they had always promised to do together before they got out their slippers and pipes, or wellies and spades to work in their gardens.
The ad had promised a cruise on the river in a viking ship, and the girls had been all for it until they arrived to board. They had no choice as it was their only means of getting back.
Both men knew that as soon as they were in their hotel rooms, the sparks would fly. Better there than on the boat though, as that may well have ended up as a Viking Burial at sea.
now I can see this happening! George wants to plan our next “vacation” and now all I can see is this! roflmao
Ha! Might I suggest you try a narrow boat boating holiday? You don’t even have to go anywhere, just enjoy relaxing on the river. We loved the life, and you meet a wonderful set of people.
Great take on the prompt.
Thank you!
You’re welcome 😉
Fantastic.
Thank you!
So funny! Talk about uh-oh!
Glad you liked my ‘pinch’!
