FOWC with Fandango — Enmity

Fandango has chosen ENMITY today.

Whilst we may have a strong dislike for someone, does that extend to enmity, a deep-rooted and lasting hatred?
Many envy what others have, be it material, financial or physical, but that’s simply human nature and wishful thinking.
We come from all walks of life, some more fortunate than others, but that doesn’t necessarily mean better or more deserving.

Just a thought.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! Due to a nightmare of a house sale in 2014, 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat until April 2017. We made strong friendships both on and off the water, and enjoyed swan and duck families for neighbours. Sadly times change and we now reside in a small bungalow a short distance from the beach on the Lincolnshire coast.

Dislike, and disagreements are usual. But not enmity.

  2. Fandango says:

I feel enmity toward Donald Trump and most of his enablers in Congress. Definite enmity.

    • I can understand that, especially after your wheel and wall post. I despair. This is supposed to be the most important man in the world? Heaven help us all. TM is cocking things up a treat over here.

  3. colonialist says:

Some people need an enema . . . er, I mean enemy . . . to help rid themselves of all the you-know-what kept inside them.
