Just Jot It January 2019

I managed to complete this last year, so going to have another go.
Check out the rules on Linda’s site here:
January 1 – Write about 2018, your plans for 2019, or anything you’d like

We’ve literally just kicked 2018 out of the door, the sky is blowing up with fireworks, and the dog is snoring her head off.
I’m glad to see the back of 2018, a year of sorrow, loss, ill health, incompetence, ambulance journeys and a sedated dog.
2019 is less than half an hour old and the first thing I’m going to do is have a decent night’s sleep!

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

It certainly did lol. Wish they weren’t coming back at all. Hope LOVES fireworks.

      • Glad you don’t have that worry with Hope.

She’s the only dog we’ve had that doesn’t worry about fireworks. But they excite her so much and she is jumping in the air and barking like bad all the time so we do have that problem but it is far better than seeing the. Shivering and terrufyed
