Tale Weaver #202 – Making Sense of Nonsense.

The Daily Mindblower December 27th 2018.

Breaking News:

“Crasis Gasitus seen pictured at the scene of his great discovery.

Many thought it impossible.

Few believed he could pull it off.

Your task is to complete the news story. Let your imagination take you places magical or not.

Crasis didn’t like the way it was going at all and was trying to find a way to get himself out of this mess. Everywhere he went a microphone was thrust in his face and a camera started snapping off shots like there was no tomorrow.
The stupid thing was he hadn’t discovered anything at all, but someone had suggested he’d found an enchanted place where Fairies lived.
It was a trick angle shot he was trying out with his new camera and he needed some perspective and dimension. The picture of him standing on the fence overlooking the field with a tiny person in the background had been staged and then photoshopped, but no-one believed him, even when he argued that he wasn’t that tall for a start and the field was more like a large garden.
He said that you shouldn’t believe everything you read in the press, as it was either hyped up out of all proportion or dead donkey stories.
It didn’t work, and people wanted a miracle.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

    • My tooth fairy was either on holiday or on strike when I lost a tooth as it was still there under my pillow 😦 My niece was clever and put the puppy’s teeth under her pillow. The tooth fairy replied in kind and left her half a dozen dog biscuits.
Happy New Year to you too Sue. May 2019 be a good year for us all.

      • Haha.. to the dog biscuits, that made me Laugh out loud lol.. hehe…
My tooth fairy did always manage to find a shiny sixpence once… But I do remember a threepence piece one time which must have been VERY heavy to carry for her.. lol.. 🙂 But it was most gratefully received 🙂
Indeed may 2019 bring Peace to ALL who seek it.. ❤
