Queen of Questions, Dec 23

Teresa’s questions today are inspired by homes:

  1. What household chores do you love to do?
    None really, apart from cooking
  2. How often do you change your blog’s theme or layout?
I’ve changed the header four times in five years, and tweaked it twice.
  3. Money and time is no barrier, what do you cook for dinner?
    Probably a curry
  4. What are you having for dinner on the 25th?
Chicken and gammon with the traditional trimmings for Christmas.
  5. What was the last meal you ordered in?
Probably Pizza around 1994 as we didn’t have anything delivered in the semi, bungalow, cottage, and definitely not the boat or here.
  6. Do you judge people based on their housekeeping skills?
  7. What is the weirdest thing you ever found while cleaning?
An Argos catalogue stuffed in an air vent.
  8. How often do you move your furniture around?
We switch the settees around every month or so to even out cushion wear.
  9. Is there a relationship between the state of your blog and the state of your house (both messy, both clean, etc)?
I like to think my blog is organised and tidy. The house is clean and tidy.
  10. What is one chore that you would gladly pay someone else to do for you?
  11. If I looked in your microwave or oven, would it be clean?
  12. When over at someone’s house, do you look in their cabinets?
Never. Tea/coffee is usually on the worktop and milk in the fridge.
  13. What is one appliance you don’t want to live without?
A flush loo, but if you’re talking about white goods, probably my washing machine.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
